Project Brief

LG Prada 3.0 is the third phone, first smartphone, in the LG Prada phone series.  In collaboration with the Prada brand, Prada specific UI guideline and new experiences were to be designed for core Android applications. Prada 3.0 is a premium luxury phone with limited amount lunched in 2012.

 

Design Process

The term “Luxury” was defined at the beginning through brainstorming and user research. We researched what is the most important factor when buying high end luxury brands? And closely observed what are some common behaviors that stood out in the user's daily lives? Then based on our primary and secondary research, new UI guideline was made and luxury UI elements were applied to core applications.

The Design

UI guideline was developed specifically for the Prada model.
New UI was designed for Keypad, Gallery, Browser, Messaging, Calendar, and a number of core application widgets.
